WESLEY HOUSE CAMBRIDGE

Support our vision of a world enriched by the Wesleyan tradition

Home: Welcome

WHO ARE WE?

Wesley House has been forming and enriching Methodist leaders in the university city of Cambridge since 1921

In 1972 the College was a founder member of the Cambridge Theological Federation - now a grouping of 11 ecumenical institutions.

Since 2014 our priority has been working with masters and doctoral students from the UK and around the world, either in Cambridge or in their own global contexts.

In 2025 we moved from our historic premises to create a new College at St Giles Court on Castle Street that better meets the needs of our times with a fully non-residential community.

OUR VISION

Wesley House’s vision is to see a world enriched by the Wesleyan
way of life with love of God and love of neighbour at its heart.

Our mission is to help shape that world through being a globally
significant resource for leadership and scholarship in the Wesleyan
tradition.

Our focus is to create and disseminate research through teaching,
publications and public engagement in three areas:
• Global Wesleyan Theology;
• Leadership and Ministry;
• Faith in Public Life.
